Longfellow Real Estate Partners has added fintech company Spreedly as its newest tenant at Durham.ID, a 160,000-square-foot office building in downtown Durham, N.C. Starting next spring, the software provider will be occupying 25,000 square feet at the recently built, seven-story property.

Located at 300 Morris St., Durham.ID is part of Southern Gateway, a two-building development that also includes a structure at 200 Morris St. The second building spans across approximately 155,000 square feet and is fully leased to Duke University. The entire project is within the 15-acre Durham Innovation District, an emerging tech and life science cluster.

Currently, Spreedly occupies approximately 10,000 square feet at 733 Foster St., but intends to relocate its headquarters to Durham.ID in order to be able to accommodate growth. In one year, the company expanded to 65 employees, up 40 percent. WeWork, Kimley-Horn and Bowl Durham are among the other tenants of the building, which also includes 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a rooftop restaurant and terrace.

JLL’s Molly Glasgow and Ryan Lawrence worked on behalf of Spreedly on the lease, while Neill Sherron and Matthew Goodrich represented the landlord.
