CBRE to Transform Atlanta’s 7000 Central Park

CBRE Global Investors unveiled extensive renovation plans for 7000 Central Park, a 423,775-square-foot office tower in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter district. The repositioning project is expected to be completed by November 2017.

Located at 7000 Central Parkway, the 18-story asset will join CBRE’s “5-Star Worldwide” program, a national network of top-tier office buildings. The improvement plan features enhanced amenities, shared co-working spaces and a wide array of events and entertainment options for office tenants. Upgrades to the property include renovations to the front lobby, a full-service and high-tech fitness center, a collaborative co-working space and conference center, expanded café area, meeting space and a new outdoor “living room” to provide a gathering space for tenants.

LEED Silver Certification

Completed in 1988, the LEED Silver certified property underwent cosmetic renovations in 2009, according to Yardi Matrix. The office tower is close to multiple interstate access points, while CBRE’s 5-Star shuttle service provides tenants with a two-minute drive to the Sandy Springs MARTA station. Nearby amenities include several mixed-use communities, dining options and retailers such as Super Target, Loehmann’s and Jos. A. Bank.

“The repositioned 7000 Central Park will become a ‘home base’ for a number of technology, media and IT companies who need office space that provides the types of experiences their employees seek,” said Jeff Keppen, senior vice president at CBRE, in prepared remarks. “Our new tenants will quickly find this isn’t just a place to work, but a community that inspires collaboration and embraces the work-play balance through a new offering of programmed events and entertainment not typically associated with the traditional office building environment,” he added.
