Chicago—Baum Realty Group recently completed the sale of a mixed-use property in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago for approximately $2.9 million.

Located at 5531-5539 N. Clark St., the two-story property encompassing roughly 10,000 square feet was bought by a Chicago-based investment group from a local investor. The seller was represented by Danny Spitz and Greg Dietz, managing directors with Baum.

“A diverse and solid rental stream from Chase Bank and Hair Cuttery on the first floor with an office tenant and loft apartment on the second floor made the asset attractive to several investors,” Spitz said in prepared remarks. “Highlighting the corner location across from Jewel-Osco drew attention to the tremendous retail space and convenience for apartment dwellers at this dynamic location along Andersonville’s coveted N. Clark Street thoroughfare,” added Dietz.

Baum is offering disposition and acquisition services for third-party property owners and investors. The company’s investment sales division completed real estate transactions of more than $400 million since 2014.
