Orlando–Hampton by Hilton has announced the opening of its newest property, Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando/Downtown South-Medical Center. The 126-key hotel, which joins the Hampton by Hilton family of more than 2,000 properties, is managed by Naples Hotel Group LLC.

“We are excited to extend Hamptonality to the Orlando medical community [and] we are geared up to deliver exceptional customer service to our guests whether they are visiting for business or leisure purposes.” James Welch, general manager, Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando, said in prepared remarks.

The hotel is located in the medical district of Orlando at 43 Columbia St., within walking distance to Orlando Regional Medical Center, UF Health Cancer Center and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Additionally, the property is one mile from downtown Orlando and the Amway Center.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center, 1,800 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 75 people, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Each guestroom offers the brand’s signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed®, LCD TV and coffeemaker, as well as 35 studio rooms with additional space, microwave and mini-fridge.

Designed as an extension of the guestroom, with a variety of seating and lighting options, the hotel’s lobby offers guests the TREATS Shop, a food and beverage shop filled with snacks, local merchandise and drinks for purchase.
