The new 1.1 million-square-foot, Class A property offers state-of-the-art functionality, including 36-foot clear height, 570-foot building depth, 185-foot truck court, a 60-foot staging area, 54×50 column spacing, ample truck courts and vehicle parking and a prime logistics location. The building also features cutting-edge design elements and modern amenities to support the growing demand for Class A space within southern Dallas County’s robust industrial sector.

PLR is currently underway on phase I of Southport Logistics Park, which calls for $22 million in infrastructure investments and a total of five buildings offering more than 3.8 million square feet. The park’s second building, a 400,000-square-foot facility, is under construction and slated for completion in the second quarter of 2017. At full completion, Southport Logistics Park will consist of 9 million square feet of new distribution and e-commerce fulfillment centers, with up to nine buildings ranging in size from 400,000 to 1.5 million square feet.

“At over one million square feet, this facility offers a unique opportunity for e-commerce users looking for large, high quality distribution space in one of the fastest-growing logistics locations in the country,” said Rob Huthnance, president of PLR Development, in prepared remarks. “Combined with the scope and quality of the infrastructure we’ve invested in at Southport Logistics Park, this building is positioned to be a meaningful differentiator for e-commerce companies’ distribution needs.”
