NKF Tapped to Lease Trophy DC Office Building
The nine-story asset has received LEED Gold certification and is 75 percent leased to the Miller & Chevalier law firm.

Oxford Properties Group selected Newmark Knight Frank to handle the leasing for its Class A office property located in the center of Washington, D.C.’s Golden Triangle. Built in 2016, the asset stands on the site of a former Christian Science Church and Christian Science Monitor building.
Located at 900 16th St. NW, the 127,600-square-foot property was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The nine-story building includes an expansive tenant-only fitness center, bike storage facility and three stories of below-grade parking, in addition to a ground-floor restaurant with outdoor patio and a private dining room.
The LEED Gold building is anchored by law firm Miller & Chevalier, which leases up 75 percent of the space. The property has a 30,000-square-foot vacancy that encapsulates the entire second, third and partial fourth floors.
Ideal positioning
The property is minutes away from the White House, restaurants, retailers and two of Washington, D.C.’s most prestigious luxury hotels, the Hay-Adams and the St. Regis. Multiple subway and bus stations facilitate the transportation throughout the area.
Newmark’s Brendan Owen, Rafael Notario and Morgan Monroe will handle leasing for the property. The team has also recently closed on three different leases at 1100 New Jersey Ave. SE in Washington, D.C., bringing it to a fully leased status.
