NGKF Tapped as Leasing Agent for 10-Story DC Office Building

The 298,000-square-foot Class A property is owned by affiliates of WC Smith and was completed in 2004.

Washington—NGKF was selected as leasing agent for Federal Gateway, a 298,000-square-foot office building located at 1100 New Jersey Ave. SE in Washington, across the street from the Navy Yard Metro station and adjacent to Canal Park.

Brendan Owen, George Vogelei, Rafel Notarlo and Morgan Monroe of NGKF will lead the leasing efforts.

The 10-story Class A property was completed in 2004. The building, which is owned and managed by affiliates of WC Smith, offers executive suites ranging between 2,400 and 23,357 square feet and will have an additional 93,081 square feet available from 2018. Amenities include a fully renovated lobby, fitness center and on-site retail including a CVS Pharmacy, Subway and Five Guys.

“1100 New Jersey is a highly-amenitized building with immediate access to the Metro, Capitol Hill and major thoroughfares including I-695, I-395 and Suitland Parkway. It’s also just around the corner from Nat’s Park, BlueJacket Brewery, Osteria Morini and soon, Shake Shack,” said Edward Wolynec, executive vice president at WC Smith, in prepared remarks.
