The Rosen Group has signed a 36,300-square-foot lease with Fenwick & West at one of its Manhattan office buildings. The technology and life sciences law firm will take up two floors in 902 Broadway, a 20-story asset in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, relocating from 1211 6th Ave. (also known as the News Corp Building), and more than doubling its New York City footprint.

The 338,515-square-foot property was completed in 1913 and features 29,000 square feet of retail. The tenant roster includes tech firm Yieldbot, which takes up an entire floor, Woodyson Housing Development Fund Corp., RODE Advertising and marketing communications company Cramer-Krasselt, to name a few. The building sits in the vicinity of retailers, eateries, fitness centers and entertainment options.

CBRE Senior Vice President David Kleinhandler and Vice Chairmen Clay Hammerstein and Ken Rapp represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Koeppel Rosen’s Max Koeppel acted on behalf of the landlord. Koeppel handles the management and leasing services for the property and The Rosen Group’s Midtown South portfolio.

“A move to 902 Broadway places Fenwick at the heart of the tech community and in the center of major industries working with emerging technologies,” Koeppel said in a prepared statement.
