Commercial real estate services giant JLL has just tapped Maureen Ehrenberg, formerly global director of Facilities Management at CBRE, to serve as executive managing director for the firm’s Integrated Facilities Management business in the Americas. Ehrenberg will also step into the position of chair of JLL’s IFM Global Specialty Board.

Ehrenberg will rely on a quarter-century of experience to lead JLL’s IFM practice, which focuses on providing a full suite of corporate outsourcing services for companies from the local level to the global stage. She will be responsible for guiding an 8,000-person JLL team that presently manages in excess of 760 million square feet of property across the Americas. She comes to the table well prepared to take on her new role.

At CBRE, where Ehrenberg spent five years, she oversaw the teams providing services–including operational, engineering, energy and sustainability, strategic sourcing and other technical solutions–for the firm’s 2.9 billion-square-foot portfolio of managed facilities. And before her days at CBRE, she held the role of president of Global Client Services at Grubb & Ellis Co. She has also worked at the management level at Premisys Real Estate Services and Equity Group.

In a prepared statement, John Forest, CEO of JLL Corporate Solutions in the Americas, said, “Companies seek JLL’s real estate outsourcing services to enable them to focus on their core businesses and improve productivity. As one of the most highly regarded experts in outsourcing and occupancy services both regionally and globally, Maureen will provide the insight and leadership that will propel our growth.”
