Hilton has opened Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District, a 213-key dual-branded hotel in downtown Tampa, Fla. Developed and managed by Liberty Group, the property is Hilton’s first dual-branded development in West Florida.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton are located at 1155 E. Kennedy Blvd., near the Selmon Expressway. The property is close to the Tampa Convention Center, the Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Water Street and Port Tampa Bay.

The 10-story hotel features 116 guestrooms and 97 extended-stay suites with fully accessorized kitchens and modular furniture. All rooms have free WiFi and guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Communal amenities include two dining areas, a shared 24-hour business center, fitness center and outdoor rooftop pool. The property also has a 24-hour convenience store, 1,740 square feet of flexible meeting space and a street-level Starbucks.

Less than one mile southwest of the dual-branded property, a Hilton hotel recently changed ownership in May. The 502-key asset switched from Hyatt to Hilton in 2013.
