EQ Office has welcomed a new tech company at its 24-story Wall Street office tower in Manhattan’s Financial District. Contently has signed a lease for 13,146 square feet and plans to move its headquarters to the new office in the third quarter. The company will join other tech tenants in the building, including GameChanger, Joan Creative, Giant Spoon and One Plus.

Leasing Manager Scott Silverstein represented EQ Office in-house. Freddie Fackelmayer, Anthony Dattoma and Zach Breit of CBRE arranged the deal on behalf of Contently. The firm was launched in New York City in 2011 and has been headquartered at 598 Broadway.

EQ Office has recently repositioned the 345,000-square-foot property at 44 Wall St. by adding multiple pre-built floors and a revitalized lobby featuring artwork by New York City street artist Hellbent. According to Yardi Matrix data, EQ Office bought the 1927-built office tower from Obligo in 2016 for $111.3 million. The company has also been attracting tech tenants at another Manhattan office asset, Park Avenue Tower.
