CBRE has hired Adam Butler, a 12-year veteran of health-care real estate, as a vice president within its Atlanta office. Butler will represent landlords, tenants and operators in the metro’s very active medical office market. He joined CBRE from a senior vice president position with SK Commercial Realty. In his position, Butler will help clients with the entire process, from defining and understanding their real estate business objectives, site selection and negotiations to design, construction and final move-ins.

A University of Alabama graduate, Butler also spent more than six years as a broker with Ackerman & Co. He has also served on the council for Medshare, a humanitarian aid organization.

According to Butler, demand for urgent care facilities has been rapidly increasing in Atlanta due to the metro’s population growth. CBRE’s own 2018 U.S. Medical Office Buildings report also shows that Atlanta has been ranking among the nation’s top markets for medical office completions and net absorptions since 2017.
