The reason for “Negotiating” is the key to, at the conclusion of the deal, achieving what you had intended on or hoped for and both parties feel as though they have come to the end benefitting from the negotiation. I believe the best negotiators have a clear understanding there are no losers in a truly successful negotiation. It is imperative when you begin brainstorming on the best strategy to use during the negotiation process you remember this principle. Never forget, for any number of reasons, you may again want or need to have dealings with the other party.
