Commercial real estate agency Matan Companies recently announced the signing of two long-term industrial leases at the Wedgewood South business park in Frederick, Md. Totaling more than 92,000 square feet of suburban Baltimore industrial space<\/a>, the deals reinforce the continued strength of the wider region’s industrial market, as well as demand for high-quality logistics and distribution space.<\/p>\n

The smaller of the two leases is a multi-year deal with Sterling Computers Corporation (Sterling), which will occupy approximately 32,000 square feet.<\/p>\n

A global solutions integrator that provides federal agencies with the latest IT hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology solutions, Sterling\u2019s location in Frederick will enhance its ability to configure, integrate, and deploy customized IT solutions in support of its federal customers.<\/p>\n

The larger of the two recently inked leases is a 10-year deal with Global Sphere Trading, Co. The fast-growing logistics and fulfillment startup will occupy 60,000 square feet at the 4510 Buckeystown Pike building of Wedgewood South.<\/p>\n

Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, Matan Companies currently has a portfolio consisting of more than\u00a010\u00a0million square feet of industrial, bio-life science, and office assets,\u00a0in addition to 20\u00a0million square feet of projects in the development pipeline, several active residential developments, and a separate portfolio of multifamily and manufactured housing units.<\/p>\n

Matan\u2019s range of services to their real estate investors and tenants includes entitlement\/construction management,\u00a0asset and property management, leasing, and tenant services.<\/p>\n
