Columbia, Md.-based micro-bay warehouse space provider WareSpace recently announced the opening of its new location in Plano, Texas.<\/p>\n

Located at 700 E. Plano Parkway, the grand opening \u2014 an open house on Aug. 6 \u2014 is intended as a celebration of the small businesses that power the local economy: It\u2019s designed to spotlight the entrepreneurs, tradespeople, and product makers who have already moved into the new location, as well as the vendors and partners who serve the Plano business community.<\/p>\n

The property was recently converted from 174,500 square feet of retail space into a small business campus that was designed to accommodate more than 160 businesses. This marks WareSpace\u2019s fourth location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.<\/p>\n

Designed for businesses that have outgrown their starter spaces, but don\u2019t need a traditional industrial lease, the facility provides entrepreneurs with professional workspace and shared amenities under one roof.<\/p>\n

The new facility offers private Dallas warehouse space<\/a> in suites ranging from 200 to 2,000 square feet with features and amenities including climate control, 24\/7 secure access, loading docks, Wi-Fi, industrial racking, conference rooms, shared kitchens, lounge areas and short lease terms with all-inclusive pricing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not want this to be an event about WareSpace,\u201d said Levi Cohen, CEO of WareSpace. \u201cWe wanted it to be about the businesses inside it. Most of our tenants outgrew a garage or self-storage unit and a full industrial lease was too much building, too much commitment and too much risk. Plano is already home to a remarkable community of small businesses. This grand opening is our chance to honor them and show them space that was designed for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The opening event is slated to welcome elected officials, business leaders, community partners, brokers, entrepreneurs, and members of the media to highlight the company\u2019s investment in the local market and the growing businesses that will call the facility home.<\/p>\n
