Seattle-based fashion retailer\u202fNordstrom, Inc. recently announced plans to open a new\u202fretail space in McAllen, Texas<\/a>, in the latter part of 2026.<\/p>\n

Located at Las Tiendas Shopping\u00a0Center, the new store reportedly spans 31,000 square feet and is ideally\u00a0located\u00a0off\u00a0of\u00a0Interstate 2\u00a0and\u00a0South\u00a0McColl Road.<\/p>\n

This new location will expand the physical footprint of the company, as well as its economic influence in Texas, where it currently operates eight\u00a0Nordstrom stores and\u00a027\u00a0Nordstrom Rack stores, generating 3,600 jobs statewide.<\/p>\n

Las Tiendas Shopping\u00a0Center incorporates nearly 288,000 square feet of retail space across four one-story buildings. The property has major street exposure on East Expressway 83; includes a 1,175-space, grade-level parking lot; and is managed by commercial real estate investment and management company MIMCO,\u00a0LLC.<\/p>\n

\u201cOwnership is thrilled to welcome Nordstrom Rack to the tenant roster at Las Tiendas,\u201d said Scott Walker, president of MIMCO. \u201cMcAllen is a dynamic and growing retail market, and the addition of Nordstrom Rack further establishes Las Tiendas as a leading shopping destination along Expressway 83.\u201d<\/p>\n

The largest source of new customers to Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack\u202fis the off-price retail division of the company,\u202foffering customers up to 70%\u202foff on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty\u202fproducts, home\u202fd\u00e9cor, and shoes from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom stores.<\/p>\n
