Atlanta office space<\/a> located in the city\u2019s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The office will be among the company\u2019s five largest locations globally and will accommodate close to 1,000 employees.<\/p>\nThe new office will be the new home of Mailchimp, an email and marketing automation platform initially founded in Atlanta that was acquired by Intuit in September 2021. After this $12-billion acquisition, Intuit looked to relocate Mailchimp from its offices spanning several floors of the nearby Ponce City Market. Now, Mailchimp stands to occupy the new space, which also offers it room to grow further.<\/p>\n
Mailchimp reportedly expects employees to be in the office two days per week and, consequently, has taken an experience-based approach for the new location. To that end, the office is designed to compete with the home in terms of comfort and convenience, while also offering the professional and focus benefits of a well-designed workspace. It will include 20 conference rooms, 48 huddle rooms, a tiki bar, a makerspace and several outdoor spaces. Moreover, the office layout is conceptualized as being made up of \u201cneighborhoods\u201d with different feels and commissioned art.<\/p>\n
One of Atlanta\u2019s most diverse and history-rich neighborhoods, the Old Fourth Ward is home to an eclectic mix of parks, restaurants, bars and street art. The neighborhood is situated just east of downtown Atlanta, while also bordering the city\u2019s BeltLine, offering great opportunities for transit, as well as recreation.<\/p>\n

Intuit boasts offices in New York, Nevada, Texas and Arizona, as well as locations in Canada, EMEA and Asia Pacific. The newest expansion marks the company\u2019s first location in the Southwest.<\/p>\n\n
